The future of electric cars in Indiana is in limbo after an electric car manufacturer was pulled from the stock exchange.
Back in June, Enerdel, which employs more than 400 people in the state including some in Elkhart, did not file its quarterly earnings report.
NASDAQ gave the electric car battery company until the middle of October to file.
On Friday, with its stock price at just nine cents and the company not in compliance Ener1, Enderdel's parent company, was de-listed.
Taxpayers could also be out some money as Enerdel received a nearly $119 million grant from the energy department.
No word how the de-listing will affect the company or employees.
